It illuminates the crosswalk as indicated by industry technical standards and in particular by providing high levels of vertical illuminance on the crossing itself thanks to DLEDS dual asymmetry optics.

The system signals the presence of a crossing from a distance and makes it highly identifiable by drivers.

Also available:

APL Smart - interactive system activated by push button or presence sensor. In rest mode, the lamps operate at 40% power. When a pedestrian activates the system, the lamps switch to 100% power and the flashing lights start working. To learn more, visit the APL website.
